1. Select -> Start Button -> Programs -> SAS -> Utilities -> Renew SAS Software. The Renew SAS Software dialog box appears.
2. Select “Browse” to select the renewal file from where you saved the it.
3. Select Next.
   
   
4. Press OK to Verify the SAS Installation Data.  (Make sure it says a date in the future, if not contact the BUMC IT for a new renewal file)
   
   The default installation location for SAS appears in two fields. If your installation locations are different, specify product location by selecting the Browse buttons.
5. Select Renew
   
   

SAS is now updated. It will expire on the date that you see in step 4.

1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASRenewalUtility\9.4 and run “SASRenew.exe” 
2. Select “Browse” to select the renewal file from where you saved the it.
3. Select Next

1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASDeploymentManager\9.4 and run “sasdm.exe” 
2. When prompted to “Choose Language,” Click OK
3. When SAS Deployment Manager is launched, make sure “Renew SAS Software” is selected under “Administration Tasks” and click “Next”
   
4. Verify “Apply SAS Foundation license file for renewal” is check and click “Next” 
5. Select “Browse” to select the renewal file from where you saved the it. (Make sure it says a date in the future, if not contact the BUMC IT for a new renewal file)
6. Click “Next”
7. Click “Start”
   
8. Select “Next”
   
9. Select “Finish”
