Admissions
Welcome to the Master of Science Program in Medical Anthropology & Cross-Cultural Practice. We are delighted that you are interested in this field and in our program! On this page you will find links to the different offices and staff in the Division of Graduate Medical Sciences to help you find the information you need to apply to the MS in Medical Anthropology & Cross-Cultural Practice.
The MACCP Program does not adhere to the general Graduate Medical Sciences application deadline; instead, we accept applications on a rolling basis.
If you have questions about when you plan to submit your application, please contact us.
Also, we know that the present challenges posed by COVID-19 may have you wondering whether it is a good time to apply for a graduate program. We are now teaching all classes online and designing alternate ways for our students to carry out their summer fieldwork. We want to reassure you that we expect to create similar adaptations, as needed, for the incoming Fall 2020 student cohort.
We are glad to speak with you about your interest in our program, and to address questions you may have. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you would like to speak with one of us about the program.

Tuition and Financial Aid
Please find the official BUSM tuition and fee rates here. However, these numbers do not reflect the tuition-reduction Provost’s Scholarship that we award to each student admitted to the program.
Boston University and Boston Medical Center employees may be eligible for tuition remission. (Those receiving this benefit cannot combine it with a Provost’s Scholarship.)
