MAMS Specialization Options: Concentrations and Dual Degrees
In addition to the MS in Medical Sciences (MAMS) program’s emphasis on providing students with a strong background for a wide variety of careers in the health professions, it also allows students to specialize their degrees to their personal goals.
MAMS Concentrations
You can take advantage of these opportunities by completing a concentration in one of three disciplines:
- Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine
- Nutrition
Dual Degree Program
Students can also pursue a dual degree. These include:
- MS in Medical Sciences and MPH (Master’s of Public Health)
- MS in Medical Sciences and MS in Clinical Research
- MS in Medical Sciences and MA in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine Program
Applicants may apply for the Dual Degree Programs for MAMS/Clinical Research or MAMS/Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine using a single application. Applicants interested in pursuing a concentration, should contact the appropriate Program Director during Orientation in September.
