Life as a STaRS Scholar

Participating in our summer research program begins with academics, but it doesn’t end there. The Boston University Medical Campus is home to the Division of of Graduate Medical Sciences and the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Public Health. The campus is located in Boston’s Historic South End. Students love to explore the shady streets lined with elegant Victorian brownstone buildings and homes built in the 1800s. Besides being beautiful, the South End has one of the most vibrant and diverse populations in the city. In addition, the campus is an easy walk to shops, restaurants, nightlife and a thriving arts community. Discovering Boston is one more exciting part of being a summer student .
