Personal Facts/Hobbies:

I’m a proud first generation graduate student, born and raised in Boston. (I’ve got great recommendations for food to try and places to explore around the city!) As the daughter of immigrants from a rural Chinese village, I’ve navigated through many socioeconomic and cultural challenges to have the opportunity to pursue higher education. I couldn’t have done it alone and am fortunate to have the guidance of phenomenal mentors, who continue to believe in me as I strive to complete my PhD. With immense gratitude, I aspire to “pay it forward” by providing support to other students who struggle with the same self-doubt and imposter syndrome that my mentors help me overcome. Please feel free to reach out about anything, even just to chat, I’d love to hear from you!
