• • YMCA: Offers summer day camps and financial assistance for families that qualify.

• • Care.com: Resource website to connect and find local care givers (babysitters, nannies, etc.) and daycares.

• • MassHealth: In Massachusetts, Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) are combined into one program called MassHealth.  MassHealth provides health benefits and help paying for medical expenses for qualifying children and families.  They also offer benefits that can help pay for health insurance premiums.

• • WIC: A nutrition program that provides food assistance and breastfeeding support to families that qualify.

• • Action for Boston Community: Non-profit human services organization for low income residents that provides a large range of services including heating assistance, housing assistance, and child care resources.

• • SNAP: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides funds to buy food and other discounts for individuals and families that qualify.

• City of Boston Resources for Affordable Housing: Affordable housing resources and assistance information. Includes links for affordable housing and income restricted listings in Boston and the surrounding area.
