Industry Interest: My research investigates mechanisms of gene regulation during the cell cycle. For example, one of my current projects is studying the dynamic interactions between long noncoding RNAs and chromatin. I draw on multiple disciplines such as molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics to answer research questions.
Personal Facts/Hobbies: I am entering into my second year of the PiBS program at BU as a Genetics and Genomics student in the Blower Lab. Prior to my time at BU I studied cell and molecular biology at Northeastern University where I developed my interests in functional genomics and chromatin biology. Outside of the lab I enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, and completing jigsaw puzzles.
