Poster guidelines and logistics
The FedEx facility at 700 Albany Street is the most convenient location for poster printing. Please refer to the guidelines below:
- No larger than 48 inches by 36 inches
- Photo satin paper
- Provided to printer as a PDF or cloud link, with all files accessible without a login
Be sure to place the order well ahead of the event (1 week or more) to ensure there are no delays. Don’t forget to mention you are a BU student to get any available discounted offers.
Presenters should arrive to Hiebert Lounge between 11:00 am and 11:30 am. Upon arrival, you will receive a number for your poster slot. The poster locations are pre-assigned, so presenters may not select their own location. Please plan on leaving your poster up until the event’s conclusion.
Posters will be judged on the 1) effectiveness of the presentation, 2) visual appeal and logical layout of the poster, 3) adherence to time, and 4) science. You will have 5 minutes to present your poster.
