Check-in for poster and talk presenters

11:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Poster presenters: Set up at your designated numbered location by 11:30 a.m.

Talk winners: Check in with your presentation materials ready to transfer to another device.

Lunch will be served.

Welcome remarks

12:00 – 12:10 p.m.

Remarks from Dr. McKnight, Associate Provost/Dean.

Award-winning presentations

12:10 – 1:10 p.m.

Winners of the GMS Research Symposium Talk Award will give presentations on their research. Two talks will be provided in each category, in the following order:

Early-career PhDs or MD-PhDs
PhDs or MD-PhDs
Postdoctoral Fellows

Poster presentations and judging

1:10 – 2:45 p.m.

GMS Research Symposium Poster Award candidates will present their work in two sessions based on their designated numbers.

ODD numbers: 1:10 – 1:55 p.m.
EVEN numbers: 2:00 – 2:45 p.m.

All posters will be judged on the spot and results will be tabulated at the end of the session.

Award announcement and photos

2:50 – 3:00 p.m.

Results of the GMS Research Symposium Poster Award will be announced.
