This event is intended to honor and celebrate research by our graduate students and has been held at Boston University for more than ten years. During that time the number and quality of research presentations has grown enormously, as has the number of awards presented The symposium will take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Metcalf Hall at the George Sherman Union. Monday-Tuesday, March 26 & 27 Hiebert Lounge, L building, 14th floor All students, faculty and staff on the BU Medical Campus are encouraged to submit artwork of any medium to the 22nd annual Boston University Medical School gallery for the arts. "Art Days" was begun by former Dean Chobanian to foster the support and growth of the creative arts at BUMC. BU Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) will host a 2011 Research Networking Workshop DATE: Friday, March 4, 2011 LOCATION: One Silber Way, 9th floor TIME: 10:00am-2:00pm This workshop is open to both Charles River & Medical campus faculty. The goals for this event are to promote research collaborations and peer mentoring. If you plan to complete your MA or MS degree by September 2011 you may be eligible to attend the Masters graduation ceremony on May 20th at 10am. This is a wonderful event where you can celebrate your success with your classmates and family. How to Pick a Post-Doc: A Panel Discussion
PhD Students: On Friday, December 3rd, attend a panel discussion with faculty, current post-docs, and students as they describe the process of looking for a post-doctoral position. Also, faculty will discuss what they look for in an application, and a student will give their perspective of searching for positions and managing incoming offers.This panel discussion will be held, Friday, December 3, 2010 from 12pm-1pm in room L109.
