Shawna graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2013 with a master’s in College Student Personnel and is currently pursing both a master’s degree in library and information science and a EdD in Administration and Leadership Studies with a concentration in Higher Education leadership. She joined the GMS team in September 2025 and has extensive experience in enrollment management and registrar spaces with over 10 years of experience at 4-year public, specialized, and two-year campuses.

Shawna values education and is a life-long learner and will always be taking one or two classes for fun! In Shawna’s free time, she enjoys traveling for music festivals, reading, and spending time with her cats.
