Karen Carter comes to MAMS as Program Manager after over 20 years of experience teaching, advising and doing admissions work at independent day and boarding schools in Maryland and Connecticut.  A graduate of Tufts University (BA) and Washington Theological Union (MA), Karen has a strong humanities background and has taught English, history and theology.  She is student-centered and looks forward to being a support to the students in the Medical Sciences program.

Outside of work, Karen loves to travel and has been to 28 countries (so far!).  She also enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, crafting, reality TV and her 3 cats.
