Students, faculty and staff on campus for the summer joined the Community Catalyst Center for its first Summer Ice Cream Social on June 27. This is the third summer in a row that C3 has hosted these socials, brought back due to their ongoing popularity from the GMS community.
Those who stopped by could choose from four different flavors of ice cream, complete with a toppings bar of sprinkles, Oreo cookies, M&Ms, fruit and syrup. The event was a great opportunity to take a quick mid-day break, relax, catch up together and enjoy a sweet treat.
The social was well attended by students from both GMS master’s and PhD programs.
The next two Summer 2024 socials will be held on Wednesday, July 17 and Wednesday, August 14. Both will be
hosted in the C3 Suite (L-306) from noon to 1 p.m. During the event, you’ll also get the chance to meet some of your C3 mentors for the upcoming academic year — chosen to be a point of contact for incoming and current students and help GMS to continue its mission of student community, engagement, and learning.
