Mindful Movement Yoga with Student Health Services

Noon to 1 p.m. in Hiebert Lounge

Kick off Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week with a well-deserved self-care break!

Melissa Paz, assistant director of health promotion for Student Health Services, will lead a 45-minute yoga practice that combines breathing with gentle, self-paced movement to encourage calmness and increase resilience when stressed. This class incorporates trauma-responsive principles and practices. No previous experience is needed.

Students are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats. Snacks provided! Sponsored by the GMS Community Catalyst Center, GMS Student Affairs, and Student Health Services.

Citation Management for Research Success

Two sessions offered in L-213:
Noon to 12:30 p.m.
12:30 to 1 p.m. 

Citation managers help you keep track of the research literature you have found for your assignments and thesis research. They also help you accurately create citations and bibliographies for your papers and thesis.

This workshop will go over the basics of citation managers focusing on Zotero, practice importing citations from a few databases, and how to integrate Zotero with your browser and Word.

Led by BU Alumni Medical Library librarians Barbara Slover and Kristen Sheridan. Lunch will be provided!
