“‘Tis the Season to Mingle” Brings GMS Cheer to the End of the Semester

GMS students, faculty and staff celebrated the fast-approaching end of the semester at the 2022 ‘Tis the Season to Mingle mixer event, hosted on Thursday, Dec. 1 in the newly renovated L-405 space.

Co-sponsored by the Community Catalyst Center and GMS Student Affairs, the mixer brought the GMS community together for an evening of holiday cheer after a busy fall semester. The event included appetizers and a bar from Catering on the Charles, games, and live music from Boston-based pianist Bobby Butler.

Toward the end of the celebration, Associate Provost and Dean C. James McKnight and Assistant Dean of Master’s Programs Theresa Davies announced the winners of the night’s raffle. Students who entered had the chance to win prizes such as C3 swag; gift cards to Starbucks, Chipotle and AMC; gourmet chocolate and hot sauces; spa sets and more!

The night was a welcomed break from end-of-semester final exam studying and stress. The L-405 space provided a perfect atmosphere for conversation, fun and community-building, goals that C3 and GMS strive to maintain in every one of its events. The event was a testament to C3’s growth in its second year of operations, and it laid a solid foundation for an exciting 2023 programming schedule to come.
