The GMS Community Catalyst Center (C3) closed out the month of October with a fall-themed Sip & Paint event, hosted on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

The event drew a crowd of GMS students — both master’s and PhD — to Chequers Cafe to take a break from midterms season, release some creative energy and spend time with friends.

GMS Marketing & Communications Specialist Mike Bloom led the group through a step-by-step painting of a fall landscape. Each table was set up with canvases, brushes and a variety of paint colors to help craft the paintings.

Students also enjoyed a spread of charcuterie snacks and cookies, as well as cups of caramel apple cider, while they painted and chatted with their peers. See a full slideshow of the evening’s fun below!

C3 hosted this event as part of its mission to foster student wellbeing and success and across the diverse GMS community. The Sip & Paint rounded out a month of October programming that included an International Student Meet and Greet, a National Coming Out Day celebration, a seminar on moving past fears and failures and a seminar focused on beating imposter syndrome.
