Oral Health Sciences Track

The Master of Arts in Medical Sciences (MAMS) Oral Health Sciences Track is designed specifically for students who wish to improve their credentials for dental school admission.GMS 4

As a MAMS Oral Health SciencesTrack student, you will take courses at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM) as well as  courses offered through GMS at the School of Medicine.  In addition, optional course work is available in a variety of disciplines, including public health, health care management, mental health or clinical research.

This track takes four semesters to complete and follows the same guidelines as the MAMS Program.  Because of the unique summer calendar at Boston University, it is possible to complete the degree in one full calendar year commencing in the fall semester (which starts in early August).  All students complete a laboratory or literature-based thesis under the guidance of faculty from BUGSDM and GMS.
