A Boston University-led study has found that a viral protein known as NSP6 may be responsible for the COVID-19 Omicron variant’s lower disease-causing potential (pathogenicity). The research, led by NEIDL scientists, was published online in Nature on Jan. 11. Read the full story in The Brink.
