2/10/2021 – Entrepreneur Fireside Chat with Dr. Erika Angle
Dr. Erika Ebbel Angle (GMS’12) received her PhD from the Biochemistry department at Boston University School of Medicine and has gone on to found two startups, Science from Scientists (nonprofit) and Ixcela (a gut microbiome biotech company).
Through the success of these ventures, she has been awarded the 2017 Young Alumni award and later the 2018 Distinguished Alumni award from BU. She has also been recognized by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Ten Outstanding Young leaders and Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40.
Approximately 45 attendees watched her TEDX style presentation titled “I am a work in progress”, which was followed by a fireside chat with Dr. Moussavi (Professional Life) and ended with a live Q&A, moderated by Li Liang (BUild lab).
