Obstetrics & Gynecology Clerkship

The Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) clerkship aims to prepare the student for their future role as a physician by providing the basic knowledge and skills specific to the reproductive health of persons with female reproductive organs. All students in the clerkship will spend time on inpatient obstetrics (labor and delivery), gynecologic surgery, and ambulatory OBGYN. Ambulatory experiences span both general and subspecialty care. Students will participate in interdisciplinary and inter-professional care delivery, and receive teaching from attending physicians, fellows, residents, midwives, L&D nurses, and other providers.
