The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Nellie Ferrara has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for November.

Nellie is a project manager in the department of medicine’s section of hematology & medical oncology. She joined our community in June 2010.

Her nominators say, “Nellie is the organizational and emotional anchor of the section, providing seamless administrative leadership while simultaneously fostering a deeply supportive and inclusive environment.

“She scales her impact, moving from an exceptional staff member to a regional and national leader in medical administration.

“Nellie demonstrates exceptional dedication, initiative and sustained impact on faculty, trainees and staff.”
