The School’s educational programs provide the clinical skills and knowledge necessary to empathically care for patients and their families.

Our basic science curriculum integrates traditional lectures with small group seminars and laboratory exercises. Self-directed learning and teamwork are emphasized. Patient contact begins the very first week of the first year curriculum. Third- and fourth-year students receive formal clinical training that offers broad preparation for post-graduate training in the full range of disciplines that comprise modern medicine. Students now have the opportunity to train at our branch campus in Santa Clara, California, for their third and fourth year.
