This month’s lunch guest is Dr. Milka Koupenova, Assistant Professor at UMass Medical School in the division of Cardiovascular Medicine. In 2016, she was awarded the American Heart Association’s Scientist Development Grant, which she used to fuel research that shed light on the interplay between platelets and viruses such as influenza.
