Scholars Day 4/15/14
Scholars Day 2014 will take place on Tuesday, April 15th in the George Sherman Union with abstract submissions due 4/6. The abstract submission form for Scholars Day 2014 will be available between March 17-31 (starting and ending at noon on those dates) at http://www.bu.edu/provost/scholars-day-2014/. Advisors will be asked to approve student abstracts by Sunday, April 6th. Students whose abstracts are not approved by the deadline will not have a designated location at the event. All graduate students in a degree-granting program at Boston University who are also engaged in research in any area of study are invited to participate. GMS Emergency Closing Procedures
In the event of existing or projected weather conditions or other emergency/disaster situations, GMS may cancel classes. Cancellation of GMS classes will be communicated by posting the cancellation announcement on the GMS website and/or by the individual course manager. This may be independent of other closings throughout the medical campus. If the medical campus is closed for the day, then no GMS classes will be held. The Master of Arts in Medical Sciences is hosting an Open House on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 3-6PM at Boston University School of Medicine, Room L-211. The Master of Arts in Medical Sciences (MAMS) Program introduces students to a broad range of topics in the medical sciences while strengthening their academic credentials for admission to medical and other professional schools.
