Updates to the BUMC & BMC Shuttle Services

Boston University and Boston Medical Center are members of the Newmarket Business Improvement District (NBID) and all employees and students now have free access to the shuttles that the NBID operates.

In order to board the shuttles, please be sure you have your BU or BMC ID card with you to show the driver. All shuttles will be marked with NBID signage and are operated by A&A Metro.

The three shuttles are: the Albany Street Shuttle, Ruggles Station Shuttle, Southampton/Andrew Station Shuttle.

Albany Street Shuttle

This route will runs continuously between the 610 Albany St Garage and the 710 Albany St Garage (power plant building parking lot) on weekdays from 5-9 a.m. and 4-8 p.m. with 15 minute service. Service is also available to Crosstown Center and 801 Albany St by request.

Ruggles Station Shuttle

Connects with Ruggles Station to provide riders with access to the Orange Line, local MBTA bus routes, and the Commuter Rail. The Ruggles Shuttle stops at 710 Albany Street and Crosstown. This route will operate 365 days a year from 5 a.m. to midnight with 20 minute service.

Southampton/Andrew Station Shuttle

Connects with the Andrew Station Red Line stop with stops at 710 Albany Street and Crosstown. This route will operate 365 days a year from 5 a.m. to midnight with 20 minute service.
