Lab Time Management: a Practical Perspective
From a practical perspective, one of the most daunting challenges for beginning investigators is learning how to cram an impossible load of new obligations into a 24-hour day. Finding ways to manage the conflicting demands on your time can be a key to developing a successful career and a rewarding personal life. Our recent Postdoctoral Affairs Speaker Series Seminar held on 10/27/11 addressed this issue.

One of the postdoc who attended said this about the event and the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs:
“Thanks so much for organizing the time management workshop. The speakers had really helpful advice and offered good perspective on what to prioritize and how to do so. I appreciated that this, like all of the workshops you’ve coordinated that I have attended, was really well-focused on postdocs.”
Thank you Drs. Nikolajczyk and Weiss who have agreed to work with postdocs to present similar workshops on this subject in the future.
