Student Government

The Student Committee on Medical School Affairs (SCOMSA) represents and advocates for the student body. In addition to supporting medical students through allocating funding for on campus events, conference & travel, and wellness-related initiatives, SCOMSA also oversees medical student groups. SCOMSA’s mission is to serve and embody the interests of the student body. It strives to empower students to initiate and organize meaningful activities, foster a sense of community across all classes, advocate on their behalf to the administration, and above all, support them in becoming the physicians they aspire to be.
