BUMC SFS Dollar$ & $ense Newsletter: March 2026 by Kathryn Wilson
Financial wellness refers to the state of having a stable and healthy financial situation, where individuals or couples effectively manage their money, save for the future, and feel in control of their financial decisions. It involves a sense of security, the ability to cover expenses, and the pursuit of long-term financial goals, ultimately leading to reduced stress and an improved overall quality of life. We’re here to help students with the challenge of juggling finances with college life, managing debt, and developing the skills for long-term financial success.
SFS provides events and workshops on financial aid, housing resources, financial wellness - pretty much anything related to improving the financial wellbeing of the BUMC community. Here you can find our upcoming and past events.
