Experian: Cracking the Credit Code Series

Cracking the Credit Code: A Series for Understanding Credit

Date: Thursday, February 5th & February 12th at 5pm

Ever wonder about the importance of a credit report or why a credit score matters? Getting ready to enter loan repayment and want to know how loans affect your credit score? Maybe just interested in applying for that first credit card?

SFS has partnered with Experian, one of the largest credit reporting agencies, to provide the BU community with a series of free virtual webinars to help attendees understand the basics of credit reports and scores. You’ll also learn easy ways to improve your creditworthiness through free tools and resources and how to use advanced strategies to manage your credit throughout life.

Our credit basics workshop, Give Me A Little Credit will be an introduction to credit and held February 5th. Our second session Cracking the Credit Code will be offered February 12th and will discuss more advanced credit topics such as major life purchases, deep dives on credit reports and debt, as well as much more!

These events will be offered to the general Boston University community. Students are welcome to register for both events.
