Here's some tips for completing your Healthway daily health attestations faster.
You can complete your health attestation quicker if you do the following described below:
- When using Duo two-factor authentication, click "remember every 30 days"
- Add the Healthway website to your Home Screen.
Duo: Remember every 30 days
If using Safari on an iPhone, Duo's "remember me for 30 days" may not work correctly unless you do this one thing.
- In the Settings app, scroll down and press Safari.
- In the Safari menu, scroll down until you see "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" and make sure it is disabled like below(not green).
After doing this, log back into Healthway normally. http://bu.edu/healthway, click on "Go Now" under Faculty Staff. At the Duo screen, click the tiny checkbox for "Remember me for 30 days", it should stay on that webpage and you can then complete the Duo two-factor authorization. The next time you log-in to Healthway, it should skip the Duo two-factor authentication step.
Add to Home Screen
Once you get to the main screen of Healthway, click the Share button at the bottom of the screen (square with an arrow pointing up). Scroll through the list that appears and choose Add to Home Screen, and it will show up like an app on your phone which can be moved wherever you like.
Starting November 1st 2015, BUMC IT will switch to using Internal Service Requests (ISR) via BUWorks as a form of payment for BUMC IT services that include SAS, Freezer Pro, and Adobe Connect. Department Admins who have access to ISR’s should be able to see the Provider BUMC Information Technology as an option under the ISR fields to pay.
If you have any questions feel free to contact the BUMC Service Desk at 617-638-5914 for more info.

BUMC IT and Information Security is sponsoring several events on the BU Medical Campus Oct. 9 and 11, so mark your calendar. This coincides with Information Security Awareness Week!
Take this opportunity to get sensitive papers out of your office and get them properly destroyed. A shredding truck will be on the BU Medical Campus located between BUSM and BUSPH, adjacent to Talbot Green, Oct. 9, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. BUMC IT and Information Security personnel will be available to accept custody of your sensitive paper documents and ensure they are immediately shredded. CDs or old floppy disks will also be accepted and destroyed.
Hard Drive and Computer Disposal
Personnel will also be available to answer questions about computer and IT security, and will accept old computers and hard drives at a table near the Shredding truck on Wednesday, Oct. 9 and in the BUSM lobby Friday, Oct. 11, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
If you have questions or need more information about this event contact the BUMC IT Service Desk at 617 638-5914 or email email@example.com.
Thanks for your interest in downloading SAS. We are currently in the final steps of renewing our site license for 2013-2014.
Beginning August 15th, current SAS users will be notified that your license has expired. However, the current installation will continue to work until November 13th.
In early September we expect to receive renewal files and new downloads for SAS 9.3 and will update the website when they become available.
In late September, we will also have available the latest and greatest version of SAS, version 9.4. Click here for more information about SAS 9.4 on the SAS website.
If you need assistance with a brand new SAS installation (not a renewal) between now and early September, please contact the Service Desk at 617-638-5914 or submit a Service Request. Otherwise, please wait until early September when we will have information available about renewing SAS for the upcoming school year.
