Diversity & Inclusion Committee

The mission of the diversity and inclusion committee is to increase diversity within our program, foster community and build curriculum focused on equity. We are made up of residents from all years, chief residents and faculty. 

We love BMC, and one of the reasons many of us chose to train here is because of our diverse and underserved patient population. Social justice for our patients and our community is one of the pillars of our hospital’s mission. Boston Medical Center’s administration, faculty, staff and particularly our internal medicine residency program strongly believe we provide better care to our patients and consequently become better doctors when the diversity of our patient population is mirrored through our care team.
