Conference Support Opportunities

Graduate Medical Sciences students who have completed their first year of study are eligible to apply for the GMS Travel Award. The award of $250 is made to help financially support graduate students who are giving a presentation or presenting a poster at a scientific meeting. These awards are for research presentations that are with BU faculty and occurred during your research training. Please note that these travel awards are restricted to US conferences.

GMS Travel Award applications should be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to departure. Please note that travel awards are processed on a monthly basis. Students should submit a receipt or invoice as proof of attendance with the application. Students are eligible to receive one travel award over the course of their academic careers but exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
