With this award, Qin will study neuroblastoma, a common extracranial solid tumor that is responsible for about 15% of cancer-related deaths in children.
She will receive the Dorothea Lang Pioneer Award, the most prestigious midwifery award given by the American College of Nurse Midwives.
The annual award honors an outstanding educator and acknowledges the importance of teaching skills and commitment to students and education.
