Grasberger Research Symposium

The Grasberger Research Symposium is an annual research event that provides an opportunity for the surgical residents, faculty and staff to present original basic and clinical research. The symposium was established in 1990 in memory of Robert Grasberger MD.

The Grasberger Professor is a visiting professor to the Department of Surgery who participates in the symposium as a lecturer and as a judge for the department resident research prize.

The 23rd Grasberger Research Symposium Lecture and Visiting Professorship will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014. This year’s visiting professor will be Michael Longaker, MD, MBA, FACS, Deane P. and Louise Mitchell Professor at Stanford School of Medicine.
