Benjamin Wolozin, MD, PhD, associate professor of pharmacology and neurology at BUSM,
Welcome to the Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM), an integral part of the Boston University Medical Campus. In addition to BUSM, the Medical Campus includes BU’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, School of Public Health, Division of Graduate Medical Sciences, and an academic medical center. Despite our size, we pride ourselves on the individual attention and support we offer to every student. We never lose sight of our responsibility to guide, support, and teach our medical students. To learn more about the admissions process, please visit http://www.bumc.bu.edu/admissions/.
BUSM is inextricably linked to our principal teaching hospital, Boston Medical Center (BMC). BMC is the largest safety-net hospital in New England and serves as the base for an extensive network of sites for ambulatory and inpatient care for patients representing all parts of our society. From core primary care services for the City of Boston to complex, cutting-edge referral services for patients from all over the world, students are part of the clinical team. Here at BU, students learn the basics of clinical practice by actually contributing to the care of extremely challenging patients.
