For nearly 20 years researchers at Boston University’s Clinical & Translational Science Institute (CTSI) have been collaborating to turn scientific discoveries into lifesaving medical treatments and tools. A recently announced $41 million grant renewal from the National Institute of Health’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) will fund the CTSI’s efforts—such as providing research resources and funding, training and mentoring programs, access to core facilities and data sources, and community engagement—for the next seven years.
