Excellence in Research, Innovation, and Quality Improvement Award

The DOM APP Excellence in Research, Innovation, and Quality Improvement Award recognizes APPs who advance clinical research, develop innovative approaches, and/or lead quality improvement efforts that enhance patient care and outcomes.
Nominees must have contributed to research, innovation, or quality initiatives within the past 3 years and demonstrated meaningful impact on project success or care delivery.

Nominees with these admirable qualifications will be considered:

Research & Scholarship

• Impact on study design, trial implementation, or project execution
• Dissemination of work through conferences, meetings, or publications to improve patient
  outcomes

Innovation & Quality Improvement

• Development or implementation of innovative technologies, processes, or care models
• Measurable improvements in clinical care, operations, or health outcomes
• Creation of transformative programs in care delivery or health promotion

Community & Professional Impact

• Identification and response to social or systemic barriers affecting patient care
• Empathy for patients and research participants
• Sensitivity and respect for diversity
• Professional, respectful, and multidisciplinary collaboration
