Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA)

LMSA seeks to strengthen the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine’s Latino community by creating a space for students to share their diverse experiences and backgrounds, by raising awareness about the health issues faced by the Latino population in Boston and the U.S. and by creating mentorship and networking opportunities for medical students. LMSA also seeks to create service opportunities for any student interested in working with the Latino community as well as for students interested in language immersion. As part of the national LMSA, our chapter communicates with other LMSA chapters in Boston and in the Northeast in order to further our common goals.
