Anatomy & Neurobiology
The Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology is a highly collaborative environment where cutting-edge research methods are employed to investigate the structure and function of the cerebral cortex across the lifespan, in both health and disease. Faculty are also widely recognized for excellence in teaching neuroscience, anatomy, biomedical imaging, and forensic sciences at both the graduate and medical education levels.

Biochemistry and Cell Biology
The Department of Biochemistry & Cell Biology recently added “Cell Biology” to its name to better reflect its research focus and expertise. Faculty use advanced technologies and experimental systems to investigate the molecular, cellular, and genetic mechanisms underlying biological processes, including those related to human disease.
