Biography

Dr. Sabetta Singh, MD is an internal medicine primary care physician and the first-year Physician Health Equity Fellow at Boston Medical Center. She currently holds the academic title of Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Singh completed her undergraduate studies at University of Virginia and went on to complete her medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She subsequently completed her internal medicine residency and chief residency at Boston Medical Center.

Her clinical and research interests center on primary care, addiction medicine, and the development of clinic and community-based interventions to reduce health disparities. Dr. Singh is particularly focused on designing system-level and community-engaged strategies to improve care for patients with chronic diseases, as well as patients with histories of incarceration and other socially marginalized populations. As part of this work, she is currently serving as the Physician Health Equity Fellow at Boston Medical Center, where she aims to translate evidence-based interventions into practical solutions that close gaps in care and promote equitable health outcomes.
