Curriculum Upgrades, Educational Initiatives, and Other Priorities
At the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, we are always striving to keep our teaching and learning as innovative as possible, with a special emphasis on building upon our proudest traditions: serving underserved patients, emphasizing interaction with patients early and often, and making the study of research, advocacy and social justice as important as the study of medicine itself.
We expect a great deal from our students. In return, we endeavor to provide them with excellent, comprehensive support in the form of wellness and enrichment programs, as well as a suite of co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities to extend their classroom learning beyond our campus.
Support from our alumni and friends helps us provide many of these activities and continuously offer more support to our students. It also helps us meet emerging needs—to build upon successful endeavors and pioneer new ones.
