The Jerome S. Brody, MD, Professor of Pulmonary Medicine and Director of the Pulmonary Center, will receive the annual American Thoracic Society’s Recognition Award for Scientific Accomplishments.
She is a staunch advocate for the health of children and underserved families.
This year’s recipients are Ricardo Cruz, MD, MPH; Julia Bartolomeo, MD; Lillian Sosa, MS, CGC; Douglas Rosene, PhD, and Jia Jeannie Xu, MD.
She is the recipient of the 2023 Wenger Award for Excellence in Medical Research from WomenHeart, the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease.
