Slanetz, professor of radiology is the recipient of the 2024 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Award, the highest honor from the American Association for Women in Radiology.
The award funds high-risk, high-reward pilot projects from the brightest junior faculty in the Boston area.
The two-year, $400,000 grant is from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine.
The associate professor in medical sciences & education, has been selected as a recipient of the Academic Medicine Excellence in Reviewing Award.

Jones, assistant professor of pathology & laboratory medicine, was awarded $2.3M in NCI funding for five years.
Will be doing clinical work and research on Olympic injuries.
