The assistant professor of medicine has been honored with the Herbert W. Nickens Faculty Fellowship for a junior faculty member demonstrating leadership in addressing disparities in medical education and health care.
The BUSM’18 alumna is one of 278 chosen nationally to work in federal agencies and congressional offices.

Mr. Spivack established these awards in 2013 to recognize and support the research of outstanding BUSM faculty conducting either clinical or basic research in Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy and other neurological disorders.
