Benjamin is an international leader in cardiovascular medicine.
Bedi, who completed his third year of medical school at Chobanian Avedisian & School of Medicine, has been awarded a Zuckerman Fellowship through the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School.
Thirty-five students have been elected membership in Alpha Omega Alpha.
Her nominators say, “Celia is quiet, but mighty, and for 41 years has provided unwavering support and expertise to the members of the department and many other students, staff and faculty on the Medical Campus. She has done so with the utmost professionalism, dedication, and a cheerful and unassuming disposition.”
The nominators said, “Dr. Shah is an active advisor in the neurology student interest group and always is a student favorite. She mentors fourth-year medical students applying for neurology residencies by reviewing their personal statements and conducting mock interviews.”
