Deniz Goodman, MD ‘26, received the award which recognizes the development of an information technology tool that helps physicians practice medicine, teach medicine or pursue clinical research, focused on developing an ultrasound simulator application.
Her trailblazing work has had a transformational impact on the lives of LGBTQIA+ veterans and will continue to affect access to care for generations to come.
Stamatios Liapis, a computational neuroscience PhD candidate and Shen Ning, a MD-PhD candidate interested in developing translational technologies to tackle unmet clinical needs, each were winners at BU’s annual New Venture Competition
The two-day conference was a mix of speakers, workshops, networking, a poster session and awards.
He was honored by the David Tvildiani Medical University (DTMU) in Tbilisi, Georgia.
