“Identifying the Earliest Phase of Alzheimer’s Disease”

Professor of Neurology, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
Director, Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center

Dr. Albert’s major research interests are in the area of cognitive change with age, disease-related changes of cognition (with a particular focus on the early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease). Her research has focused on the relationship of cognitive change to brain structure and function, as assessed through imaging, cerebrospinal fluid and other biomarkers. She has authored over 220 peer-reviewed publications.
