Join  Professor of Psychiatry and Assistant Dean for Research at BUSM Terence M. Keane, PhD,  as he presents on the Art and Science of Treating PTSD. The discussion highlights interest in psychological trauma through the centuries and a focuses on the processing  of war trauma through art and literature as therapies. This event allows participants to learn about the science behind treating combat related Post Traumatic Stress and discover the many ways VA is offering cutting edge, evidence based treatment and improving Veteran access to care.

Keane serves as Director of the National Center for PTSD-Behavioral Health Sciences Division and Associate Chief of Staff for Research & Development at VA Boston Healthcare System. He is the Past President of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) and has published 13 edited volumes and over 250 articles and chapters on the assessment and treatment of PTSD.
