The Board Review Program was created to support students in their preparation for the USMLE Step 1 & Step 2 CK exams. Components of the program include: Town Meetings, Student Panels, review of high-yield material in Board Review Sessions, guest lecturers, the Diagnostic Exam, the Simulated Exam, and Drafting Study Schedules sessions. When To Take USMLE
| USMLE | Recommendations | Requirements |
| Step 1 | Take Step 1 after 4-week Independent Review (May) Take 1-week Vacation (May/June) |
You must take Step 1 PRIOR to beginning 3rd year clerkships (June). |
| Step 2 CK | Take Step 2 CK prior to starting 4th year rotations (June). | You must take Step 2 CK by December 31st of 4th year. |
| Step 2 CS | Take Step 2 CS prior to November 1st of 4th year. | You must take Step 2 CS by December 31st of 4th year. |
