Dr. Jolion McGreevy Develops SAEM Lecture Series

jolionCongratulations to Dr. Jolion McGreevy, Instructor in Emergency Medicine and Assistant Residency Program Director, for developing “Ethical Decision-making in the Emergency Department,” a peer-reviewed lecture series!

Featured in the journal Academic Emergency Medicine, the lecture teaches participants to understand the unique ethical context of the ED, recognize the importance of competence in ethical decision-making, and develop a framework for ethical decision-making in the ED.

Co-developers of the lecture include Dr. Eric Isaacs of University of California-San Francisco School of Medicine, Dr. Keith Marill of Massachusetts General Hospital and University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. Arvind Venkat of Allegheny Health Network, and the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Ethics Committee.
